KLITSCHKO MUSEUM

This unique project , which carries a social mission. Opening of  the museum dedicated to the achievement of the legends in the world of professional boxing Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko - a tool to stimulate the desire of young people to lead healthy lifestyles and strengthening the national spirit. Our legendary champions museum presented its exclusive trophies to be able to see every visitor.

The museum features multimedia show for creating which were brought by German experts.

Visitors can experience the atmosphere of sporting spirit and relive the greatest moments from the career of the legendary Ukrainian champions. Feel how important family support and strong bond between brothers, learn how faith in our own strength, dedication and hard work turns dreams into reality.

Film and art multimedia show, which are broadcast on interactive screens within each tour, produced the famous Ukrainian producer and director Sergei Dolbilov who directed more than 20 documentaries about Klitschko brothers.

As part of the social program of the project for schoolchildren there are free tours. 

Also, visitors have an opportunity to buy a wide assortment of souvenirs devoted to the Klitschko brothers. For the convenience of customers souvenir paraphernalia can be purchased in the museum and on the official site klitschkomuseum.com.

Vitaliy Volodymyrovych Klitschko (born 19 July 1971, in Belovodskoe , Kirghiz SSR ) - is a Ukrainian politician and heavyweight professional boxer, kickboxer . Member of the Ukrainian Parliament 7th Convocation.

PhD in physical education and sport . Reserve Major Armed Forces of Ukraine (2009) .

Honorary world boxing champion in the WBC. Former world boxing champion among professionals of WBO (1999-2000), Ring Magazine Heavyweight title (2004-2005) and WBC (2004-2005, 2008-2013).

Six-time world champion in kickboxing versions of various organizations (four among professional and amateur twice) . Three-time champion of Ukraine in amateur boxing . 

1996

November 16, 1996 in the first game in the professional ring knockout in the second round defeated Tony Bredhem.

1998

May 2, 1998 winning by TKO in the fifth round of Dixie Ryan became inter-continental champion under version WBO.

October 24, 1998 won by TKO in the second round of Mario Shissera won the European title (EBU).

1999

June 26, 1999 won by knockout in the second round Herbie Hyde won first for the brothers Klitschko world title (WBO).

2000

April 1, 2000 suffered the first defeat in a professional career. In the fight against Chris Byrd in the lead by track judges after nine rounds Vitali had to refuse to continue the fight due to injury of the shoulder.

November 25, 2000 again won the European title (EBU) beating Timo Hoffman. It was the first fight that Vitaly won not by knockout, and on points.

2001

January 27, 2001 in the 1st round knocked Orlina Norris in a fight for the vacant WBA Intercontinental title 

December 8, 2001 Vitali fight against the winner spent his brother Ross American P'yuriti. The 11 round bout was stopped because P'yuriti got many powerful blows and could not defend themselves. The victory by TKO.

2003

June 21, 2003 in the sports arena «Staples Center» Los Angeles took the fight with Lennox Lewis. As a result of a strong section of the left eyebrow Vitali chief doctor stopped the fight in between the sixth and seventh rounds. The advantage of the score at the time was on the side of Klitschko. According to the judges, he won four of six spent rounds and the score was 58:56 in favor of the Ukrainian boxer. All awaited continuation of a confrontation between two great boxers. But revenge did not take place - Lewis retired boxer.

2004

April 24, 2004 Vitaly met in the ring with the South African Corrie Sanders. Duel Sanders ended by TKO in the eighth round. So Vitali became world champion under version WBC and again avenged his brother.

2005

November 9, 2005 announced the completion of a sports career, but in January 2007 announced its intention to return to boxing and compete for the title of WBC champion Oleg Maskaev.

2008

October 11, 2008 he returned to the ring and won the battle against Samuel Peter TKO. The opponent refused to fight after the 8th round. So are the WBC returned to Vitali

2012

September 8, 2012 Vitali won by TKO over Manuel Charr. The doctor stopped the fight due to dissection eyebrows in German. This fight was the last fight of Vitali's career.

2013

December 16, 2013 announced the decision to suspend career. Guide to the World Boxing Council (WBC) champion announced Vitali honored as one of the greatest and most successful champions - heavyweight in the history of the organization. 
In general, the professional ring Vitali Klitschko held 47 fights, won 45 wins (41 by KO victory) and suffered two defeats. First - because of torn ligaments, the other - as a result of opening the eyebrows, which is why fighting was halted by a doctor.

Volodymyr Volodymyrovych Klitschko (born 25 March 1976 in Semipalatinsk, Kazakh SSR, now Semey, Kazakhstan) is a Ukrainian heavyweight professional boxer.

Olympic champion in 1996 in the heavyweight division (over 91 kg).

World heavyweight boxing champion among professionals of WBA, IBF, WBO, IBO, and Ring Magazine Heavyweight title.

He is the younger brother of former WBC, WBO & Ring magazine heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko.

1996

November 16, 1996 in his debut in professional boxing bout by knockout in the first round defeated Fabian Mesa.

1998

December 5, 1998 in Kiev, suffered an unexpected defeat by TKO in the 11th round of the Ross P'yuriti.

1999

September 25, 1999 won by TKO Axel Schulz won the European title (EBU).

2000

October 14, 2000 won a unanimous decision to Chris Byrd avenged his brother and won his first world title by turning the WBO belt in the family Klitschko.

2003

March 8, 2003 meeting with the South African Corey Sanders. After a few defenses of his title again Wladimir counted on an easy victory, but suddenly lost by TKO in the second round. As later recalled Wladimir, this defeat served him a good lesson and now champion and focused with maximum dedication preparing for any opponent.

2004

April 10, 2004 in Las Vegas, in a fight for the vacant title of the WBO Vladimir lost to Lamon Brewster. Four rounds Klitschko dominated in the ring and in the fifth Ukrainian suddenly started to leave power, and this allowed rival. Tests after the battle showed that blood sugar Wladimir was several times higher than normal.

2006

April 22, 2006 for the second time by defeating Chris Byrd won the title of world champion, IBF and IBO.

2007

July 7, 2007 took revenge for the defeat three years ago in Lamon Brewster and defended his IBF Champion titles and IBO.

2008

February 23, 2008 in New York City at the famous Madison Square Garden in the first 1999 unification fight world champions heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko won a twelve rounds of Russian Sultan Ibragimov for the decision. Klitschko thus combined championships versions organizations IBF, WBO and IBO.

2011

July 2, 2011 in Hamburg, defeating David Haye by a unanimous decision of the judges are won world champion under version WBA. Thus, the Klitschko brothers in his family gathered all the championship belts in the heavyweight division.

2013

October 5, 2013 in Moscow, at the battle of two Olympic champions Wladimir surely won over Russian Alexander Povetkin. The judges recorded a total Ukrainian dominance in the ring (119-104).

2014

On April 26, 2014, in Germany, Wladimir knocked out Australian Alex Leapai in the 5th round, defending the WBO, IBF, IBO, WBA (super), The Ring titles.

On November 15 of this year in Hamburg (Germany), Wladimir knocked out the Bulgarian Kubrat Pulev in the 5th round. It was a mandatory defense of the IBF title.

2015

On April 26, 2015 in Madison Square Garden, New York, (USA), Volodymyr defeated the American Bryant Jenningson by decision of the judges, defending the WBA (Super), IBF, IBO, WBO, The Ring,

On November 28 of this year, in Dusseldorf (Germany), Volodymyr lost to the British Tyson Fury by decision of the judges, losing the WBO, IBF, IBO, WBA (Super), The Ring titles.

2017

On April 29, 2017, at Wembley Stadium, London (England), Wladimir lost to Anthony Joshua by technical knockout in the 11th round. It was a fight for the IBF, WBA (Super), IBO titles.

In general, the professional ring, Wladimir Klitschko held 69 fights, won 64 (54 by knockout) and suffered five defeats.
